Officials have now announced the kickoff time for Clemson Football's season opener. The 2024 Aflac Kickoff Game, between Clemson and Georgia will kick off at noon on Saturday, Aug. 31 from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and will be nationally televised on ABC.
Clemson will appear in the Atlanta based Kickoff Game for the third time in the program’s history, while Georgia is making its fourth appearance. It's the 66th meeting between the two schools separated by about 75 miles. The series dates back to 1897.
Georgia is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between the two programs. The Bulldogs currently lead the series with a 43-18-4 all-time record against the Tigers, including the recent 10-3 win in the 2021 season opener.
