William Byron led over 200 laps Saturday night at Martinsville, on the way to his 2nd win of the season. In a year that thus far has displayed parity, Byron has now become the 1st driver to win two Cup Series races. Byron was able to hold off hard-charging Joey Logano in Overtime to take the checkered flag. Byron and seven other drivers in the front of the pack elected not to pit when the race's final caution came out with 5 laps left.

Byron dedicated the win to his mother, who suffered a mini-stroke and was diagnosed with brain cancer, this time a year ago. Byron told ESPN following the race " It means a lot to have her here, it's been a crazy year. But she's doing great. It kind if felt like she was riding in there with me".
Byron's win is the 4th of his career. It gave Hendrick Motorsports its 4th win in 8 races this season. Joey Logano finished 2nd, Austin Dillon 3rd, Ryan Blaney and Ross Chastain rounded out the top 5. The Busch boys Kurt and Kyle were 6th and 7th, followed by Aric Almirola in 8th, Chase Briscoe in 9th and Chase Elliott 10th.
Next up for the Cup Series is one of racing's most iconic tracks, Bristol Motor Speedway. The Nex Gen car makes its highly anticipated dirt debut next weekend. A night race at Bristol is always one of the most incredible and special events in racing. You add in a car that's never ran on dirt and had challenges to say the least this season, you have a recipe for must-see TV. The Food City Dirt Race at Bristol is set to start at 7 PM Easter Sunday Night.
