After two wins over the Weekend in Memphis, Clemson Basketball is shaping up and having a milestone season for the program. Clemson thumped New Mexico 77-56 on Friday and followed that with a 72-64 win over 3 seed Baylor on Sunday.

The Tigers built a 10 point halftime lead at 35-25. They extended the lead to 15 at 61-46 with 6:45 left. Baylor went on an 18-5 run to make the game 66-64 Clemson with 30 seconds left.

The Tigers went 6 for 6 from the foul line including four straight makes for RJ Godfrey to seal the win. Clemson advances to the Round Of 16 for the 1st time since 2018 and just the 4th time in the last 35 years.

The Tigers will take on 2 seed Arizona Thursday, a win would give Clemson their 1st Elite 8 Appearance since 1980.
