Greenville saw two days of NCAA Tournament action with two teams advancing after wins over the weekend. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena, or "The Well" as local knows it hosted 6 games from Thursday through Saturday.

After struggling Thursday in their 1st round game, #1 in the East Duke found their stride. The Blue Devils cruised past TCU 81-58, Saturday. Duke outscored TCU 43-24 in the 2nd half. Duke's defense was much better in their 2nd game, as they held the Horned Frogs to just 33% shooting overall. They also forced them into 7 of 24 from three point range.

While Duke, still didn't shoot it well from deep (7 of 21), they were able to hit on 55% of their total shots. The Blue Devils will move on to the East Regional in Washington, DC later this week.

In Saturday night's late game, 3 seed Illinois decimated 11 seed Virginia Commonwealth 76-55 in South Region action. The Illini had four players in double figures. Andrej Stojakovic (Son of NBA Star Peja Stojakovic) led the way for Illinois with 21 points off the bench.

Illinois will move on to Houston and will take on the Houston Cougars in their hometown, Thursday. The winner of that one, will go on to the Regional Finals, next Saturday.

This year marked the third time in the last 9 years that Greenville has been one of the sites for NCAA Men's Tournament.
