From Arkansas to Miami to Tigerville, Nate Garner has trusted the Lord to direct his steps throughout his coaching career.
North Greenville University named Garner as it's tenth Head Football Coach on Tuesday morning in Tigerville, South Carolina. Garner played college football at The University of Arkansas before spending seven seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
"I am excited to have the opportunity to lead men in faith and on the football field. This was a great opportunity for me and my family," Garner said to the media.
Garner also spoke about his experience in college as well as the National Football League and how that will help him lead the program in Tigerville. "Tony Sparano was one of my biggest mentors up until he passed a few years ago and was one of the reasons I got into coaching. I have been blessed to model my coaching after some great coaches that I have been around like Dan Campbell in Detroit as he was with us in Miami."
North Greenville will head into the 2025 season as a new member of the Conference Carolinas.
