Clemson's streak of consecutive double digit win seasons that dated back to 2011 has now been snapped after the Tigers road loss to NC State over the weekend.

Clemson's offense struggled in Raleigh scoring just 7 points in three quarters, in their 24-17 loss to NC State.

The Wolfpack got a TD pass to cap their 1st quarter scoring drive. NC State then extended the lead to 10-0 after a 2nd quarter field goal. Clemson then scored on a Phil Mafah TD run to cap a 9 play, 75 yard scoring drive. The Wolfpack led 10-7 at the half.

NC State then got a pick-6 from Payton Wilson and their offense scored later in the 3rd, to lead 24-7 going in the fourth. Clemson scored 10 straight in the 4th, but the offense would be stopped with 14 seconds left to preserve the win.

Clemson is now 4-4 on the season and 2-4 in ACC play. It marks the most conference losses for the program since 2010. The Tigers host Notre Dame this Saturday for a noon kickoff.
