Well, as the cliché goes "it was over for South Carolina when it started", Saturday. Missouri reeled off 24 straight to open the game and led 24-3 at the half. South Carolina would fall 34-12, dropping their 3rd straight game.
Missouri racked up over 400 yards of total offense and was of 13 on third down. South Carolina was held to under 300 total yards and was just 3 of 14 on third down conversions.
Mizzou owned the run game, outgaining South Carolina 220 to 69 on the ground. Tiger RB Cody Schrader led the charge with over 150 yards and 2 TD's on 26 carries.
South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler was under pressure consistently, he was sacked 6 times on the day. Rattler was 23 of 40 passing for 217 yards and a pick.
South Carolina's offense was held out of the end zone and managed just four field goals on the afternoon. The Gamecocks are now 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the SEC. They are on the road at Texas A&M on Saturday and will try to avoid their 4th straight loss.
