
Furman Football got into the win column in dominating fashion at Paladin Stadium over the weekend. The Paladins dismantled Stetson to the tune of 48-7 on Saturday.
Furman scored 17 unanswered in the 2nd quarter to take a commanding 24-0 lead at the half. The Paladins added 17 more in the 3rd and lead 41-0 going into the 4th.
Furman then got a TD run from Gavin Hall to go up 48-0. Stetson scored a late TD to get on the board and make the final 48-7. The Paladins held Stetson to less than 250 yards and were plus three in the turnover margin.
The Paladins are now 1-2 on the season, they'll travel to take on William and Mary this weekend. That game is set for a 6PM kickoff Saturday night. You can catch all the action of Furman Football all season long on The Fan Upstate.
