
The Carolina Panthers have hired a new General Manager and they only had to look down the hallway to find him. The Panthers have announced the promotion of Dan Morgan to President Of Football Operations and GM.
Morgan was the Panthers 1st round pick in 2001 and started at LB during their run to the Super Bowl in the 2003 season. Since his playing days Morgan has worked in the front office for various NFL teams.
He joined the Seattle Seahawks as part of their Scouting Department in 2010 and later became Assistant Director Of Player Personnel. He was with Seattle during their last Super Bowl run.
He then left in 2018 to become the Director Of Player Personnel for the Buffalo Bills. Morgan returned to Charlotte in 2021 when the Panthers hired him as Assistant GM. Dan Morgan has 14 total years experience in NFL front offices.
