It'll be back to the drawing board for the Panthers after firing their General Manager following Sunday's milestone loss. Carolina Panthers Owner David Tepper announced Monday that Scott Fitterer is no longer the GM of the franchise.
The Panthers will now look for a new GM and Head Coach this off season. Dan Morgan will take over the day-to-day operations in an interim capacity. The Panthers finished 2-15 this past season, which was the worst record in the NFL.
Tepper bought Panthers in 2018 and next season will be on the 6th's Head Coach counting those who served on an interim basis.
Fitterer leaves after being at helm during the franchise's trade of draft assets for #1 pick Bryce Young, although sources around the league say that move was Tepper's idea. The Panthers are 14-37 since Fitterer has been in charge of personnel decisions.
