The Carolina Panthers have traded a disgruntled player after a blow up on the sideline during their loss to the Rams Sunday. WR Robbie Anderson has been dealt to the Arizona Cardinals.
The move comes after Anderson was sent to the locker room during the 2nd half of the Panthers road loss to the L.A. Rams. Anderson was sent off the sideline by Interim Head Coach Steve Wilks, after getting into a shouting match with Receivers Coach Joe Dailey.
The move for Arizona is an effort to replace WR Marquise Brown , who's out indefinitely with an injury. In 2020, Anderson's 1st year with the Panthers, he had a 1,000 yards receiving, his production has declined since.
Carolina is getting a 6th round pick in 2024 and a 7th rounder in 2025 in exchange for Anderson. Arizona will also pay the remainder of his salary this season.
