PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The NFL issued its punishment of the Ravens after their outbreak which led to nearly two dozen on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and disrupted the NFL schedule. The organization had at least a positive a day for 10 straight days.

NFL Network reports the Ravens fined $250,000, but lost no draft picks.  Investigation over, that’s the punishment.  The Ravens estimated value is 2.98 billion.

The Steelers received the same fine, of $250 thousand, for allegedly wearing illegal masks.

The Tennessee Titans were fined $350,000 for their off-site practice earlier this year, that also disrupted the league schedule.  Titans didn’t lose a pick.  The Patriots were also fined a quarter million but didn’t lose draft selections.

Meanwhile the Raiders, a team that’s moved multiple times and the Saints, an organization openly critical of the NFL, each lost draft picks.

Saints lost a seventh round pick for a maskless locker room celebration and fined a half a million dollars.

Las Vegas also out a half a million bucks and docked a sixth round pick after a player wasn’t wearing his league-mandated tracking device.  Raiders have been a repeat offender for various COVID violations.
