We are into 2021 and inching closer and closer to baseball season and we’re getting you ready for the upcoming Orioles season all offseason on 105.7 The Fan. Today, the guys at Inside Access were joined by Orioles OF Ryan Mountcastle to see what he had to say about the start of his young career.
Ryan joined Jason and Ken to talk about his minor league career, what it was like waiting to get called up to the major leagues and how he felt the transition to the big leagues went for him. Ryan said he wasn’t sure when he would get the call to join the Orioles but when he got it he was ready to go. Ryan is able to play multiple positions but emphasized that he wants to play wherever they want him to play. When talking about the young prospects in the Orioles organization Ryan said he’s excited for the future of the club and believes they can compete within the next few years.
