PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers likely could rest a number of players at Cleveland on Sunday. We know three are officially out. Ben Roethlisberger, coach’s decision, and two more due to injury.

Kicker Chris Boswell missed the last two practices of the week and won’t play Sunday with a groin injury.  Starting safety Terrell Edmunds is dealing with a shoulder issue.  He’s out against the Browns.

While Anthony McFarland is back after sickness kept him out last week, receiver Diontae Johnson missed the entire workout Friday with an undisclosed illness.  While not on the report, his status would appear in doubt for Sunday.

Center Maurkice Pouncey and outside linebacker TJ Watt haven’t practiced all week, but not officially on the inactive list.  Cam Heyward missed two of the three practices.  He could join others as either limited or out for Sunday.

The positive injury news is outside linebacker Ola Adeniyi (shoulder) and linebacker Marcus Allen (stinger) have practiced full all week and no longer listed as hurt.
