A 2nd half surge Saturday lifted Clemson to a road win at Florida State. After going to the half even at 30, Clemson opened the 2nd half on a 9-2 run. Clemson outscored Florida State, 48-37 in the 2nd half to win 78-67.
The Tigers closed the game strong going 6 of 6 from the foul line in the final 90 seconds. Clemson was better defensively than in recent outings, holding Florida State to 40% shooting from the floor and just 22% from three point range.
Clemson had four players in double figures, Chase Hunter had a tea high 14. Spartanburg native PJ Hall added a baker's dozen. Jamir Watkins led Florida State with 15.
Clemson is now 13-5 overall and 3-4 in ACC play. Clemson is back in action when they travel to take on Duke, Saturday afternoon.
