
A recent study shows that Clemson athletics is heavily desired when it comes to conference realignment. However, South Carolina is on the other end of the list.
Research from Oddspedia, ranks Clemson as the 4th most coveted athletic programs for realignment among fanbases. Notre Dame topped the list, Florida State and Duke were 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
While the Irish are highly desired in college football's conference landscape, 80% of their fans surveyed in the study want Notre Dame to remain independent in football.
Clemson ranked ahead of Penn State, Ohio State and Texas in the nationwide survey. South Carolina was on the list of least desired athletic programs in terms of realignment, along with SEC members Missouri and Vanderbilt.
