HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil is officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Tunsil is dealing with an ankle injury suffered in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He did not practice this week and was not expected to play in the Texans' finale.
This is the second game Tunsil will miss this season. He missed the Texans' win over the New England Patriots with an illness.
Roderick Johnson will fill in at left tackle in Tunsil's absence. The Texans were already without their starting right tackle Tytus Howard, who suffered a concussion in the Texans' loss to the Colts in Indianapolis two weeks ago. Rookie Charlie Heck is expected to play right tackle, where Johnson had been filling in for Howard.
Also in active for the Texans are running back Duke Johnson, cornerback Phillip Gaines, quarterback Josh McCown, wide receiver Damion Ratley and safety Geno Stone.
