The Tigers have made their first significant move of the offseason.

The team agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with OF Robbie Grossman on Tuesday, according to The Athletic.

Grossman, 30, is coming off something of a breakout year with the Athletics in which he hit eight home runs in 51 games -- a 25-homer pace over a full season -- and posted a career-high slugging percentage of .482.

He batted .241 with an .826 OPS, while playing primarily in left field. He's a switch-hitter who should help lengthen a thin lineup for the Tigers.

An eight-year vet who began his career with the Astros, Grossman played under current Tigers manager AJ Hinch in Houston 2015. He spent the past two seasons with the A's after a three-year stint with the Twins.
