It was a mistake filled game for Furman as Paladin miscues led to a blow out loss on Saturday. Furman fell at home to Chattanooga 41-10. That marks one of the most lopsided losses in conference play for Furman in recent history.

The Paladins turned the ball over 5 times. That set Chattanooga up in "short field" situations throughout the game. Five of their 7 scoring drivers were of less than 60 yards.

Furman trailed 7-3 after the 1st quarter. Chattanooga then scored 13 in the 2nd quarter to lead 20-3 at the half. They then reeled off 21 unanswered in the 3rd to lead 41-3. Furman then scored late to make the final 41-10.

The Paladins are now 2-4 overall and 1-1 in SoCon games. Furman hosts Western Carolina this Saturday at 2PM. You can hear all the action on The Fan Upstate.
