A Spartanburg native and NASCAR driver was the guest of honor at the Hub City Spartanburgers game, Wednesday night. Jeremy "Jug" Clements was the special guest for "Spartanburga" night at the brand new Fifth Third Park.
The 1st 500 fans through the doors took home a commemorative Jeremy Clements bobblehead. Clements entered the ballpark in his his racecar the same one he's set to drive in this Saturday's Xfinity race in Charlotte.
Hub City got a 3-2 win over the Rome Emperors in 12 innings. That evened the six game series at one game each, game three is set for tonight (Thursday) and the series is slated to conclude with Sunday's game.
