Tisdale was a member of Clinton's 2022 squad that went 13-1 this past season, won a region title and made it to the class 3A Upper State Title Game before losing.

Tisdale's Head Coach Corey Fountain released a statement saying " “Words fall short while trying to express my emotions for the sudden loss of Taylor Tisdale. “His smile and positive attitude often impacted his teammates and will be greatly missed.”

Laurens School District 56 says grief counselors will be available this week for students and staff.
