An Upstate native will look to make her 3rd appearance in the Olympic Games, later this summer. Sandi Morris is a Greenville High alumnus and was inducted into the Greenville County School District Hall of Fame in 2021.

She went on to compete at the University Of Arkansas and later captured the Silver Medal in the Pole Vault at the 2016 Olympics. Later this month, Morris will look to qualify for 3rd appearance in the Summer Olympics.

She'll seek redemption after her pole broke, while she was in mid-air during the Tokyo Olympics.

Morris will compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials in the Pole Vault which are slated for Friday June 28th and Sunday June 30th. This year's Olympics will be held in Paris, France from July 26th-August 11th.
