Wofford Football is set to start spring practice begin spring practice Tuesday, March 15th.. Overall, the Terriers will have fourteen scheduled practices in March and April. Spring practice will be starting approximately six weeks later than in previous seasons. The team will practice for three weeks, then take a week off for Wofford’s spring break. They will return for the final two weeks of practices.
The team is expected to return sixteen starters – six on offense, eight on defense and two specialists. Among those returning are 2021 All-Southern Conference honorees Micheal Mason and Irvin Mulligan. Mulligan led the team in rushing, while Mason led the team in sacks and tackles for loss. Also returning is Alec Holt, who led the team in receptions, and quarterbacks Bryce Corriston, Jimmy Weirick and Kyle Pinnix – all of whom started at least one game last season.
In addition, the team welcomes wide receiver Davis Jordan, linebacker David Powers, linebacker Jalen Marshall and quarterback Cade Rice as transfers who will take part in spring practice.
All weekday practices will be held at approximately 5:50 p.m., with Saturday practices at approximately 10:40 a.m. on the lower practice fields. Times and dates are tentative and can change due to weather. Practices are open to the public.
