An immigrant is set to face deportation after he serves time in the North Carolina prison system for child sex crimes.
The Buncombe County District Attorney's Office says 22 year old, Wilmer Ramirez-Perez was convicted of statutory rape of a teenager, Monday.
Court records say, Ramirez-Perez claimed to be a teenager to gain the trust of the 14 year old victim.
He'll serve between 3 and a half years and 5 and a half years in prison and will be subjected to deportation after his sentence.
