What is known as a street takeover turned a Greenville County neighborhood into a scene from one of the Fast and Furious movies over the weekend.

Hundreds of people gathered at the intersection of Jonesville and Scuffletown Roads near the Five Forks Area, Saturday night.

Vehicles reportedly flooded the area to street race, and to do burn-outs and doughnuts. Fireworks were also shot off during the incident. A street take over is a large scale meeting in which people use social media to spread the word and virtually invite any and everybody. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says those involved will be held accountable and some arrests have already been made. The Sheriff's Office has not announced details or formal charges in those cases, as of this time.
