DETROIT (WWJ) - It's time to check your pantry, especially if you're a snack lover.
Mondelēz Global LLC is recalling a limited quantity of Cheese Nips because the snacks may contain plastic pieces.
The company says small yellow plastic pieces broke off of a dough scraper during the production process and became incorporated in the snacks, which were sold nationwide. The issue became apparent after workers noticed yellow plastic pieces on manufacturing equipment.

No cases of illness or injury have been reported.
Consumers should not eat the recalled product, and should discard any product they may have. For more information, contact the company at 1-844-366-1171.
