DETROIT (WWJ) - A suspect picked up by Michigan State Police is back in custody once again after he slipped out of his handcuffs and ran away from troopers in Detroit.
Police say the troopers were working in Corktown around 9:30 p.m. Monday when they made contact with the suspect, who they believed was selling narcotics.
The suspect was taken into custody, but during the investigation he slipped out of the handcuffs and fled the scene on foot.
He was later taken into custody by Detroit police near 6th and Labrosse streets.
The incident remains under investigation.
