PORT HURON (WWJ) -- Although no foul play is suspected, Port Huron authorities are investigating after the body of a 36-year-old Ecorse man was recovered from the St. Clair River on Saturday.

Port Huron Police and Fire Departments responded to Desmond Landing by the ferry dock just before 6 p.m. on Apr. 22.


A man's body had been found floating in the water and was soon retrieved with the assistance of the St. Clair County Dive Team.

Investigators were able to identify the deceased and contact his family, though his name was not released to the public.

At this time, officials do not believe anything suspicious or criminal led to the man's death.
