(WWJ) -- A cash reward is being offered to anyone who can help track down the people who murdered a 59-year-old man last spring.
Authorities say Joseph Gennrich was murdered on March 12, 2020, on Detroit's east side and investigators are still trying to find the culprits.
The incident reportedly took place around 1:45 a.m. in the 11000 black of Charlemagne between Gunston Avenue and Conner Street -- near Coleman A. Young International Airport.
Officials say it was believed to be an attempted armed robbery that ended with Gennrich being killed.
Police say the suspects are two black males who were wearing dark colored clothing with hoods over their heads. No other details about the suspects or the crime were disclosed.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest of Gennrich's killer.
