A teenager is dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting yesterday evening in Harper Woods.
The incident unfolded when police were called to Eastland Mall parking lot by an employee who said he had found a body.
Police discovered a 19-year-old with a deadly gunshot wound to the head.
Nearby, police found a car that had crashed into a fence near Harper Woods High School. The 18-year-old driver had also been shot in the head, police said.
He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in serious condition, police said.
No motive is known, but witnesses did tell police they saw a newer GMC Terrain with tinted windows near the scene with two or three people inside. The investigation is ongoing.
