(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Police in west suburban Woodridge are keeping an eye on some troublemakers right outside their headquarters.
Officials say two geese apparently are trying to nest near the front door of the station, and they’re telling members of the public to be wary and call 9-1-1 if visitors need a police escort.
“While we are sure they love their new home and are just very excited to tell all the visitors to the Police Station all about it, they just get a little too pushy,” the department said in a social media posting Thursday.
Police say they’re working on relocating the geese to a more suitable home.
