The 'Today' anchors ranked by net worth

After working his way up in his native South Carolina, before joining MSNBC as an anchor in 2011 and acting as a fill-in anchor on Weekend Today, the Emmy-award winning newscaster eventually made his way to full-time Today co-anchor in 2018, and got his own MSNBC show “Craig Melvin Reports” in 2021.

The west coast anchor for “Today,” Natalie Morales earns a hefty $16 million salary, not bad for someone who started out working with Court TV. She has also continued her work as a correspondent for “Dateline NBC” and previously hosted “Access Hollywood.”

Savannah Guthrie has been with “Today” since 2001 and a co-anchor since 2012, building on her legal experience to perform as a legal analyst and correspondent. She also regularly appears on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt,” and is well known for her celebrity interviews.

Hoda Kotb began appearing on “Dateline NBC” in 1998, eventually building her relationship with the network into appearances on a number of shows. She eventually hosted “Today” in 2007, and earned a spot as an anchor in 2018. She has also penned a number of books, including her 2010 autobiography “Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee” and more recently “This Just Speaks to Me” in 2020.

Carson Daly has led a varied career over his time in the public spotlight, rising to popularity as an MTV VJ, getting his yearly New Year’s Eve gig in 2003, and joining “Today” that same year, eventually moving up to co-anchor, all at the same time that he’s hosting and producing “The Voice” for NBC for the last decade.
