Singing an a cappella version of a beloved song in front of three music icons is a difficult task for any singer, yet aspiring musicians continue to give it a try, showing up to audition for ‘American Idol’ every year. This year’s audition rounds are currently underway and while plenty have attempted to show off their skills to Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, it’s a 15-year-old girl that is getting the praise from the audience. Casey Bishop made it to the next round thanks to her bluesy version of Motely Crue’s ‘Live Wire,’ and many fans are calling it their early favorite.

While the judges were shocked by the young singer’s song choice, she quickly blew each of them away with her Motley Crue cover. “Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, and then I love blues like Ella Fitzgerald. I love rock, though,” said Bishop. Though the song was unexpected, all three judges voted “yes” sending Bishop to the next round, according to Loudwire.

“You’re really, really, really good. And I love that nobody knows that you can sing besides you and couple of your friends and your hairbrush, probably,” said Luke Bryan. Now, the young season has to try to live up to the hype.
