Earlier this month, Carrollton police officers attempted to pull over a U-Haul for littering and failing to signal a lane change, but the truck had no desire to stop.
The couple in the cab led the police on a wild chase, that began on North Josey Lane before the vehicle before making its way onto the George Bush Turnpike.
During the pursuit, the U-Haul was driven through medians, parking lots, and even front lawns in an attempt to escape.
Needless to say, that attempt failed.
The chase ended a residential area in the 2100 block of Marin Drive, where 35-year-old Shane Lusk and 29-year-old Kasia Martin were arrested at the scene.
Per FOX 4, Lusk was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, and also had an active arrest warrant for a probation violation for fraud in Dallas County. Martin had an active arrest warrant for theft in Denton County.
Police recovered numerous credit and debit cards in different names, tax documents, vehicle titles, checks, passports and ID cards from backpacks located in the U-Haul.
