One of America’s favorite pastimes is watching cat videos on the internet.
You sit down for five minutes to watch a cute video, next thing you know you’re an hour in and your phone is about to die. The cats are adorable, and the videos are addicting.
A new event celebrating the felines of the internet is coming to North Texas. It’s called CatVideoFest, and it’s a 70-minute compilation of the best videos of cats the internet has to offer, and it will be available to watch in theaters later next month.
According to NBC DFW, ticket sales from the spectacle have raised over $1 million since 2019 benefitting cat-focused charities, shelters, and animal welfare organizations.
In North Texas, you can participate in CatVideoFest at the historic Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff, Alamo Drafthouse, and at Galaxy Theatres Grandscape in The Colony.
