As many parents in 2021 know; it can be very difficult to convince a child to stop playing video games and instead go outside to play. However, a father in Latvia has gone viral after going above and beyond to get his kids to remain active in the winter. As seen in the now viral video, the man built a 588 ft bobsled track in his backyard.
Aivis Berzins spent six years building the bobsled track and it only cost him $60 to build, according to Bro Bible. Berzins said he began the project “for the kids, so they have something to do in the winter and they do not sit in the house all the time in front of the television and computer.” Bobsledders can reach up to 19 MPH on the track, and it takes a minute to complete the entire loop.
Many online were amazed by the fathers plan to keep his children away from video games. Plenty were hoping they could give the bobsled track a go as well. If his kids ever get sick of it, at least there are plenty of people online who would travel to try out his backyard track.
