There are many people who can’t help but stop for a quick snack anytime they go to a gas station to fill up. For 7 Eleven customers, that means possibly adding a Slurpee or a hot dog on top of the gasoline. However, now the gas station chain is giving customers even more reason to stick around after getting gas. The Irving-based gas station will open a new location in DFW that features a patio and a bar.
The new 7 Eleven located at 13635 Preston Rd. at the corner of Alpha Road in Dallas has something no other location has in the nation; a patio. The new feature is part of the chain’s “Evolution Stores.” This will be the fifth Evolution Store in the metroplex, though no two locations look the same, with each having something to separate from the others.

The new Dallas store will feature a covered outdoor patio on one side of the building for customers to enjoy outdoor seating, frozen margaritas, and beer on tap, according to Dallas Culture Map. Along with the patio, the store will also have a self-serve espresso machine where 7-Eleven will test specialty items including Cold Foam, Caramel Macchiato, Dirty Chai, White Mocha, and Horchata Latte. With these changes, this 7 Eleven may soon become a DFW hot spot.
