Every ‘Star Wars’ fan has a favorite character from the franchise. While many stick to the favorites from the original, such as; Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia or Han Solo, there is a group of fans obsessed with characters like Boba Fett. Luckily for those fans, a new series based on the galactic bounty hunter is on the way, and now Disney+ has revealed the series’ release date.
‘The Book of Boba Fett’ was first teased during an unexpected end credits scene during the season 2 finale of ‘The Mandalorian.’ Now, after months of anticipation, Disney+ has revealed the first season of the Boba Fett series is set to premiere December 29. The announcement was made by Disney+ with a tweet showing off some art from the series as well.

Boba Fett will be played by Temuera Morrison in the new series, with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson serving as executive producers, according to Movie Web. Morrison said of the upcoming series, “we're going to see his past and where he's been since ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’” Hopefully the new series can live up to the ‘Star Wars’ hype.
