The Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch filmed for eight months all across the Metroplex, including Ferris, Boyd, Cleburne, Grandview, Weatherford, Dallas, Rio Vista, Fort Worth, and Mineral Wells.
While filming, the production happened upon their fair share of rattlesnakes.
Stars Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show that the show had sometimes up to six rattlesnake wranglers on set at all times, and during the course of production caught some 3,400 rattlesnakes.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, at one point director Christina Voros discovered 40 to 50 rattlesnakes at a single location!
Dutton Ranch airs weekly on Fridays via Paramount+ and the Paramount Network.
