Music fans are always excited when one of their favorite bands covers a song by another artist they like. For fans of Motorhead; while they can longer hear Lemmy’s take on these songs, as the iconic frontman passed away in 2015, there’s now someone online recreating other musicians’ songs in the style of Motorhead. YouTuber Denis Pauna went viral recently after recreating Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’ to sound like a Motorhead song.
Denis Pauna has gained a following online for his cover songs in the style of Motorhead. The latest video shows Pauna dressed as Lemmy, complete with mutton chops, performing ‘Personal Jesus.’ “Here's an old classic Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode, but in the style of Motorhead! The influences of songs like 'Born To Raise Hell' and 'Built For Speed' can be heard,” Pauna wrote online.
This is not the first time he has gone viral for his Motorhead style covers. Pauna previously covered Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’ album in the same style. After this latest video, fans are already giving suggestions as what should come next.
