October may be known Halloween, but it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness month and one North Texas mother recently found a way to honor both. The 47-year-old mother of three who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2021 and fought it until September of that year decided to make all her Halloween decorations pink this year. Now, her home known as the “Pink’d Out House” is going viral for all the right reasons.

Driving through DFW, there are some pretty interesting Halloween decorations up already, but for all the haunted looking houses around town, none look quite like the pink house in North Richland Hills. Angela Fincher decorated her home with pink Christmas lights and a pink pumpkin patch in her yard to raise awareness of breast cancer.

“This year for some reason — I wish I could give you this grand reason why, but I don’t know why — I just thought it would be kind of cool to do something for breast cancer awareness, being a survivor myself,” said Fincher. According to Dallas Culture Map, the home has its own public Facebook page, called Pink'd Out House. Luckily for Fincher, it will be difficult for any of her neighbors to top her Halloween décor this year.
