Hurricane Harbor is about to get a major facelift.
Following the merger of Six Flags and Schlitterbahn Waterparks owner Cedar Fair, the Six Flags' owned Hurricane Harbor will undergo a massive renovation that will see a 58,000 sq. ft. addition added onto the park.
According to the Dallas Morning News, this will be the "largest expansion in water park history," with the new addition featuring 110 water features, seven water slides and a 1,000-gallon tipping water bucket.
Hurricane Harbor, along with its new addition they're calling "Splash Island," is scheduled to open in 2025.
