‘Jeopardy!’ fans are still waiting to hear who the permanent replacement for late host Alex Trebek will be. While that is yet to be revealed, the popular game show has released their upcoming schedule of guest hosts, and plenty of interesting names were including. The list of people brave enough to attempt to fill the shoes of the iconic Trebek includes; Katie Couric, Aaron Rodgers, Bill Whitaker and Mayim Bialik.
Alex Trebek passed away in November, with his final ‘Jeopardy!’ episode airing last week. Former champion Ken Jennings has already stepped in to host the show, but once he is done the list of celebrities will take over hosting duties. While NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced he will be a guest host on Tuesday, the rest of the list was announced on Wednesday.
“Alex was a legend, revered by all of us. I want to thank our guest hosts, who will not only help all of us celebrate his great legacy, but also bring their own touch to the show,” said executive producer Mike Richards. Richards will actually take over for Jennings first, giving the celebrities time to “prepare for their appearances.” They will need it attempting to take over for a legend.
