The State Fair of Texas is less than two weeks away from opening day, but for those in DFW that just can’t wait; they’ll have a chance to get a sneak preview of this year’s fair while also potentially appearing on television. It was recently announced that ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ will be filming at Fair Park on September 20 and the event will be open to the public.

On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel’s side kick Guillermo Rodriguez will be at Fair Park to film a segment for ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ Details for the event are still coming, but the families of the Big Tex Choice Awards finalists have been asked to be on-site for filming. Those that wish to attend are being asked to enter through gate 5 around 6PM, according to Dallas Morning News.

Along with Rodriguez will be the “Guillermobile,” which Kimmel describes as “kind of like the Batmobile, but with a full bar and a mustache on the front.” Rodriguez will also be visiting Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston this week. Hopefully he is able to make the rest of the stops after sampling this year’s fair food.
