DART buses and trains around DFW are getting a makeover, courtesy of a local middle school student. Earlier this year, DART announced the theme for their annual student art contest. They have now selected a winner, who will have their art displayed on DART vehicles and all over the metroplex.

7th grader Nadia Nesich was recently named “best of show” in the Dallas Area Rapid Transit's annual Student Art Contest. This year’s theme was “DART's New Bus Network: Simpler. Better. Faster. Easier!" with many students submitting their work. However, it was Nesich whose work stood above the rest.

Now, Nesich will have her work displayed on DART rail stations, buses and inside trains, as well as at the Dallas Museum of Art, Love Field Airport, the Gallery at Courtyard in Plano, and on DART's website. According to NBC DFW, Nesich is currently a student at Pegasus School of Liberal Arts & Sciences in Dallas. Now, she will definitely have some bragging rights when school starts in the fall.
