It has been quite some time since most people have seen a live concert, and many are hoping 2021 sees a return to live music events. One band has already announced plans to make their return this year. Neal Schon announced recently that Journey will headline Lollapalooza in 2021.
Like many other music festivals, Chicago’s Lollapalooza was cancelled in 2020, but they have already begun planning this year’s version of the show, barring any setbacks. It appears Journey will be a part of those plans, as guitarist Neal Schon said, “We have our first date booked for Lollapalooza, and we’re headlining in Chicago, and that’s supposedly in April.”
Of course, nothing has been officially announced yet, but if everything goes as planned, Journey will be back in 2021. “Hopefully that’ll not get pushed back,” said Schon who said he was ready to get back on stage. Now fans will finally get a chance to see Randy Jackson back as a member of Journey.
