Plano named the sixth best city to live in the U.S.

Plano is receiving some national love and was just recently named one of the best cities to live in the U.S. by Niche, a data-driven platform used to provide information on schools, cities and real estate across the U.S.

Plano landed at No. 6 on the list.


According to the Dallas Observer, Plano received an overall score of A+ thanks to its high scores in its public schools, jobs, nightlife, diversity, and health and fitness, all of which scored an A.

Plano also received high marks high marks for its housing, crime and safety, commute, and cost of living.

The Nice report stated, "Living in Plano offers residents a dense suburban feel, and most residents own their homes.

"In Plano, there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Plano, and residents tend to have moderate political views."
