Pod technology has come a long way over the last few years. Where at first, people were amazed coffee could be made from ingredients in a small pod, now there are machines with the ability to make items such as juice, cocktails and even cookies. However, the latest pod based gadget may top them all, as now people will have the ability to easily make ice cream at home.
The ColdSnap is a device that uses pods to make ice cream on demand. While the product hasn't hit the market yet, the company plans to start shipping their product to customers in the second quarter of 2021. Along with ice cream pods, ColdSnap plans to make pods for frozen cocktails, frozen yogurt, frozen coffee, frozen smoothies, frozen "healthy shakes" and slushies as well.
The price of the product is currently unknown, and based on the video it seems the machine is quite large. Still, many online were excited at the idea of having an easy to use soft serve ice cream machine at home. It's only a matter of time before all food is made using a pod.
