It seems these days just about every celebrity wants their name attached to an alcohol brand. One of the most successful stars in this field over the years has been Sammy Hagar, and now he has partnered with his friend and fellow musician Rick Springfield to take his brand to another level. Springfield will be in Fort Worth later this month, giving fans a taste of his celebrity rum and signing some bottles as well.
It was recently announced that Rick Springfield will be at Spec’s in Fort Worth on August 21 to promote Sammy's Beach Bar Rum, a Puerto Rican-made rum Sammy Hagar originally founded in 2012. According to Fort Worth Culture Map, the line of rum features a Platinum Rum, Red Head Rum, and Kola Nut Spiced Rum. With Springfield now on board as well, the icon plans to give away samples and sign bottles while in town.
The event will be at the Spec’s at 2750 S. Hulen St. The time for the event is yet to be announced. With his name now attached to an alcohol brand, Rick Springfield has officially reached a new level of celebrity.
