Whenever a lead singer leaves a band, it usually means the end of a group. Not all bands can pull off success with multiple frontmen the way Van Halen did, but that doesn’t mean they don’t try. The latest to give it a try is Skid Row. While many still remember the Sebastian Bach era, the band is hoping their new singer, Erik Gronwall, can bring them back to the glory days.
Sebastian Bach may have left Skid Row in the 90s but that didn’t stop the group from hitting the road. They have since been led by a number of other singers, and now they have announced a new singer being added to the lineup. Erik Gronwall will replace ZP Theart, who joined the group in 2016.
Gronwall will appear on the bands new album, along with their upcoming Las Vegas residency and tour.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Gronwall previously starred in NBC’s 2018 version of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar.’ Now he will be belting out ‘Youth Gone Wild’ and all the other Skid Row hits from back in the day, along with music from their new album. While many are still holding out hope for a Sebastian Bach reunion, Gronwall may just be the next best thing.
